Abigale Paige

My dear sweet baby girl will be two years old tomorrow. This year happened entirely too fast. The jump from age 1 to 2 is tough on this momma. Before 2 years old, when somebody asks how old she is, you tend to use months "oh she is 18 months"...but then when 2 hits... no more months. Now she is counted by years. That sucks. I think I will continue to use months. She is 24 months old. I am 297 months old. Has a nice ring to it. haha Anyway, back to my dear sweet 24 month old. In the past two years, she has accomplished so much! She has learned to walk, jump, eat solid food, drink from a cup, say words... babies are amazing! Some of her newest accomplishments: She has been saying "Sissy" regularly to address Kailyn. This is awesome to us, because she technically has a speech delay. The words she can use properly are: Mama, Dada, More, baby, Uh-uh (is that a word? lol), whats that? (sounds like wassat), and sissy. Oh and she can moo when asked what a cow says. She can sign for drink, eat, more, and please. We will have to talk about her speech at her 2 year well child check. Besides speech, she is developmentally right on. She can run, jump, build lego towers, zip zippers, just about anything. Her daily routine is: wake up around 8, eat breakfast, play, lunch around noon, nap at 130-ish til 4-ish, play, dinner, bath, bedtime at 730pm with her giraffe stuffed animal. Some of her favorite things are: her family, shoes, Daisy, reading books, and anything her sister doesnt want her to have, peas, babies, and soda pop. Some of her least favorite things are: mommy or daddy leaving, being told no, oranges, her sister playing with her toys, and thats about all I can think of. Abigale has been such a huge blessing to me. She has taught me so much, and has given me so much faith. I cannot look at her without thinking of how blessed we are to have her.

We had a great little party for her on Saturday. I was so glad that we decided to do low-key. It meant more focus on Abby, and making sure she was having an awesome birthday party, instead of having a million things to tend to. We just had a small gathering of family, and did dinner, cupcakes and icecream. It was great!  My favorite part was after she opened her boots, she wanted them put on her, then she strutted around the entire room, showing each and every person her awesome new boots.
