While over at my parent's house the other night, an unexpected visitor stopped by. Santa Claus himself peeked inside my parent's window. Kailyn saw, screamed, ran and hid in the bedroom. We invited Santa inside to visit with Jacob and Kaela, and they got a huge kick out of it. But oh no...not Kailyn. I tried talking her out of the bedroom, but she refused repeating to me "I just wanna go home. Mom. I just want to go home. Take me home." We tried explaining to her that Santa is our friend, he is nice, etc. It just wasn't happening. So we started to say goodbye to old Saint Nick. When she saw he was leaving, it was like a light went on above her head. She yelled "WAIT!", so he stopped and turned around. She said "Umm...I want a Tag Reader for christmas. And a blue present and a red present." Santa smiled and said that he would try his best to bring that for her. Then Kailyn decided Santa just might be nice. She then asked about his reindeer, where they were, if she could see them, or his sleigh. We explained to her that the reindeer were anxious to get back to the north pole to get back to work. So we went outside to look for Santa Claus' reindeer, and left Santa inside the living room. When we turned around, Santa had disappeared! It was magical. Kailyn has never been so excited in her life! Oh, and Santa, if you're reading this, you did such a great job. Thank you again.
